Brindha Sivakumar was born on in Chennai in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. She is an Indian Singer & Playback Singer who is known for her work in Tamil cinema. She is the younger sister of actor Karthi & actor Suriya and the daughter of actor Sivakumar.

Brindha loved to sing from her school days. During her 10 class, she was invited for singing a single track for a film but she refused the offer as she wanted to focus on her studies. While singing a prayer for Surya's Agam Foundation she was spotted by film producer Dhananjyan who got amazed with her voice and offered her to sing in his film. In , she made her singing debut with the film ''Mr. Chandramouli'' directed by Thiru and produced by G. Dhananjayan. She worked as a playback singer and sang the title track of the film.

 

After it, she sang the song ''Nee Yen Nanbanae'' in the film Raatchasi of This song was highly praised by the audience and the media and titled as the most melodious song. In she sang the song ''Shero Shero'' with co-singer Vishal Chandrasekhar for the film ''Jackpot''. In , she sang a solo track ''Vaa Chelam'' for the film Ponmagal Vandhal.
